Here we go....

Yesterday I attended the first day of the New Media Academy at ASU. We talked a lot about Web sites, definitions, started a little blog using WordPress. Should be a good program, hope to learn much. Tough to keep up!

It's a slow Saturday...In two weeks I start a program at ASU designed to introduce me to all the "new and improved" tools out there to help journalists get the word out. I hope to utilize what I learn and apply them at work. I'm hoping something like this could be one of those tools. No one is "following" me yet 'cuz they don't know I'm here! Brenda, te amo!

For the very first time...

Welcome to my blog. A couple of years ago I had no idea what a Web log was, and I'm not so convinced I know tonight. Yet it represents a small step for me as I attempt to keep up with the 21st century and its ever-changing technology. I have no idea who will look at my blog or how anyone will even know it exists. And I'm definitely not convinced anyone really cares. So, in essence, this is essentially a "test message" to see if I can figure this out or not....Hasta luego....
